About Us

Economic Development Council (EDC) is an Economical, Non-Political Lebanese NGO targeting to:

1. Working on comprehensive development in Lebanon and raising competitiveness in the Lebanese economy.
2. Establishing an integrated economic and investment directive plan at all levels: educational, informational, informational, subordinate, health, industrial, economic, agricultural, commercial, dependency and tourism.
3. Lebanon has served as an international commercial center and a global trade and cultural meeting point between East and West.
4. Work to activate the national capabilities that are neglected and not fully activated.
5. Preparing statistics and feasibility studies for economic projects and coordinating integrated work opportunities for segments and competitions.
6. Work on specific investments in the field of directives.
7. Work on small enterprises for companies contributing to projects and small projects of a company character.
8. Working to create job opportunities for youth to reduce displacement, migration, poverty and the resulting social problems.
9. Working to help women to take their real and pioneering role in society and in entrepreneurship.
